Our Legacy
New Delhi Law Offices (NDLO), a full service law firm, was established in 1992 by Mr. P.S. Dasgupta in New Delhi. In 1996, Mr. Rakesh Ojha joined NDLO, followed by Mr. Arindam Ghosh in 2005 and Mr. Joydeep Nath in 2011. Over the years, NDLO provided legal advice to major national and multinational clients in various areas of law and business.
To better reflect its growth story and multi-jurisdictional presence, NDLO rebranded itself as Asia Law Offices (ALO). ALO truly represents the firm’s journey towards its global presence.
ALO specializes in offering expert legal advisory services in areas such as investments (both inbound and outbound), entry strategies, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate governance and compliances, real estate and infrastructure, and dispute resolution. ALO has extensive experience in advising foreign companies on entry strategies for establishing manufacturing bases and distribution channels in India and abroad.
Upon assuming partnership in 2007, Rakesh played a pivotal role in driving and developing the firm, leading it to new heights. ALO has successfully handled numerous commercial transactions, international arbitrations, and assisted foreign banks in their recovery strategies and multijurisdictional recovery actions. The firm continues to support transactions in various regions, including the Middle East, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Africa, and the USA.
With its expanding operations, ALO opened overseas offices in the United Arab Emirates and Denmark. This expansion has been accompanied by the induction and growth of several Senior Members with extensive experience in diverse legal verticals and domains.
